Ken Madden
FOUNDER
Ken Madden is the owner of Shiloh Builders. With over 50 years in home building, Ken is considered a Master Builder in our luxury custom homes building community. Ken began his career in Durango, Colorado in the early 1970’s. In 1987 Ken relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona and founded “Shiloh Custom Homes”. Shiloh focused on luxury custom builds, creating masterfully crafted dream homes for its clients. These homes received prestigious awards such as “Custom Home of the Year”, “Gold Nugget Award” and “Best Custom Home”, just to name a few.
Shiloh Custom Homes would go on to receive over 50 national and regional awards for its outstanding homes built under Ken’s leadership. In 2001, Ken began pursuing his interest in land development in Arizona and Montana. “Shiloh Development” success led Ken to selling Shiloh Custom Homes in 2004 to key employees and to focus full-time on land development. In 2013 Ken returned to Scottsdale, eventually founding Shiloh Builders to pursue his passion: building luxury custom homes and home transformations in North Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree. Ken and his wife Helene reside in Carefree, Arizona and have 3 grown children. For leisure, Ken enjoys biking, scuba diving, and fly fishing.
Helene Madden
Office Leader
Helene is originally from Montreal Quebec.
Married to Ken for 40 years Helene has been involved in the construction business right from the beginning of their marriage.
Helene is our office leader. She is passionate about helping Shiloh Builders become “The choice builder” for many looking to build or remodel their dream home.
Having lived in Arizona for almost 35 years, she has become an expert at maximizing the valley experience! In her spare time, Helene enjoys road cycling hiking, spending time outdoors camping. She delights in oil paints, reading and spends time with friends and family.
Dori Buford
Controller
Originally from SE Florida, Dori came to Arizona in 2001.
Dori started in Construction Accounting at 19. With her exceptional aptitude for accounting, she worked her way up to Accounting Manager and Asset Manager. Working directly for a local Developer, she ran the accounting team for high end condo projects encompassing construction, property management and condo sales in AZ, NV and CA.
With her extensive experience in construction, property management and real estate accounting, Dori is an asset to the Shiloh Builders team.
Dori is a mother of one lovely child. When not working, Dori loves to spend her time outdoors hiking, fishing and exploring with her child.
Corey Davern
Project Leader
Corey is a native of Arizona.
He graduated from The Art Institute of Phoenix and worked as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director for 12 years. Corey needed a change and wanted to learn the trades of construction.
Shiloh Builders hired Corey last year. He is quickly gaining skills and his attention to details is a great asset to our team. Corey takes pride in insuring perfection in all he does on our job sites.
Corey loves spending time with his family, playing sports and enjoy trying out the best local restaurants.
Micah Madden
Project Leader
Micah is born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona.
He graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and minors in both Chemistry and French. Upon completion of his degree, he moved to China to work for the following 4 years. During his time overseas he created two successful businesses that he continues to run to this day.
Micah has worked part-time for Shiloh Builders for many years and upon returning from his time overseas he has begun working full-time for Shiloh and pursuing his passion for understanding all facets of Construction. He considers himself a life-long learner and is always looking for ways to improve himself and his work. With a sharp mind and can-do attitude, he is an asset to the team.
Micah enjoys developing his businesses, learning languages, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
